Dev Channel Update: 0.11.257.32
Dev channel was updated this afternoon fixing a rather nasty bug that was causing only blank pages to show in the browser on login. If you have it, have you noticed any other fixes? I have noticed that my blog posts describing how to create recovery drives have been possible the past few days. Those of you that recovered back to beta channel, do you plan to move back to dev now or have you had enough of life as a guinea pig?

in the last version when you open a youtube video and a new tab for other things, the sound of the video will get crunchy, this version has fixed this
ReplyDeleteI just updated and it seems VZW 3G has stopped working. Anyone else have the same deal?
ReplyDelete@cory gack: No issues here. I disabled Wi-Fi, enabled Mobile Data and then clicked Verizon Wireless to connnect. Kind of annoying that switching between takes 3 pulldowns of that menu though...
ReplyDeleteGot it to work after three reboots. Must have been the Faraday Cage. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLocation in Google maps is working again
ReplyDeleteOver the last few updates I was having wifi issues after resuming from standby. It simply would not connect most times, but would reconnect if I disabled and re-enabled wifi. It was driving me kind of nuts and I used the laptop less because of it. This update seems to have fixed it. For now.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I don't have the syncing options.
ReplyDeleteNIce to be back. Lived in ubuntu for a few days there. Glad to get back in chrome and have a safe ubuntu environment still.
ReplyDeletei'm getting the audio mute error again! but that's better than not having any of my pages load.
ReplyDeleteI recently put my cr-48 into developer mode, how do I update to the Developer updates, I'm still in the beta update "Chrome OS 0.10.156.54"
ReplyDelete@ LivingChains Click on the wrench, About Chrome OS, More Info, Then under the Channels heading, click on the drop down menu to change. You don't need to be in Dev mode, switch flipped, to use dev channel.
ReplyDeleteAs for me, gonna stick with Beta for a while after recovering twice in the past week. At least I had your instructions to do it with, Thanks Jay.
