First steps

I've got an Ubuntu rootfs booted. I need to get networking up and running so I can install packages and work towards a graphical desktop. We'll get there!

    what version of Ubuntu are you trying, the LTS or 12.10?

    Quetzal some laggy, because it uses a "deadline" scheduler.

    Well done, an full fat linux port is exactly why I bought this cheap arm chromebook.

    Are you still in need of donations? I'm happy to throw a little your way but the main donation page says you reached the target?
