  2. 3G is working for me! And flash seems to be faster in loading and playing to me.

  3. Scratch that, 3G is still glitchy, I just got lucky. You can usually get 3G to work if you reboot a bunch of times and try connecting on boot with wi-fi turned off

  4. Inching towards a 0.13 Beta Channel with working 3G, I hope.

  5. +All. Recently, I've been going back and forth between beta/dev (mainly due to instability on dev). My main focus is speed. I generally assume newer (chromium/canary) = faster. On the other hand, since Chrome OS is a huge part of speed on chromebooks, and OS instability could impact speed, I'm unsure if this general assumption holds.

What do you guys think? In general, have you found the more unstable (dev) builds to be faster than the beta builds? Or would you say Chrome OS instability actually makes for a slower chromebook?

  6. I've come to the think that the Dev Channel, with all its issues (speaker, 3G ,and Wifi to name a few) and the on-again off-again feature integration isn't worth the trouble. It's becoming too difficult to even test, and I find I have to simply switch from my CR-48 to my MacBook to get work done, ultimately preventing me from submitting bugs, while on the Beta Channel generally works well enough that I can both get work done and deal with the occasional error.
